So a few months back I was just sitting around thinking about stuff when it dawned on me that I’d now been a smoker for 14 years. I thought to myself “wow” that means I’ve been a smoker for basically half my life.
I have to tell you, I may not smoke a pack a day but what I do smoke has given a beating to my lungs.
With recent health issues it got me thinking more and more, I asked my mom if she would join me in quitting and she’s actually agreed!
So Monday we go to get a prescription for a drug called chantix which from what’s I’ve seen and heard will actually increase our chances of success.
So this should be (fingers crossed) my last month as a smoker and I will begin a brand new chapter of my life as a non smoker and hopefully not one of those people who go from a smoker to a non smoker to a preacher.
Smack me if I ever start going on and on about quitting, as I firmly believe it’s a personal choice that can ONLY be made by each person themselves.
So it shall be yet another topic here on the blog as I take yet another path on the road to self wellness.
Wish me luck everyone, I am gonna need it!
And I will apologise now if in the near future I come off a little more bitchy then usual…lol
